Tt eSPORTS and Scorptec Aimstar Challenge in Rowville Victoria

Tt eSPORTS and Scorptec are teaming up to bring you the 'Tt eSPORTS and Scorptec Aimstar Challenge'. What is an Aimstar you ask? Well read on to find out how to get on in this free competition.

An Aimstar is fairly self explanitory, it's a person that has tip top sharp aim. To test this, We have decided to run a competition that will enable you to throw your best at some selected pro players. Meaning, we are inviting the public to play in a 2v2 Counter Strike: Source competition on the aim practice map named "3d_Aim_Map". This competition will be running warmod that has been modified to a 1 second freeze time meaning that the action will be non stop and exciting.

3d_aim_map, used by many for aim practice. This map involves people spawning on each side of the map with the weapons of AK47 and M4 already being on the ground and available to pick up. The aim is to elimite the opposing team, move into the next round and repeat until victorious (first team to 16 rounds).

This competition will be played at the Scorptec Rowville store (in Victoria) and will involve different style of gaming, you get to 'play the pro's'. This means that you, the public, will have the oppertunity to meet up with and try your best against our two Professional Grade players; Nicolas 'Fluke' Pontil-Scala and Anthony 'Ar3syk' Christou.
Don't worry though, you don't have to beat them, just put up a good fight! Whoever gets the highest score (or beats by the most amount) our two pro gamers will take themselves home some Tt eSPORTS MEKA G1 Keyboards!

Tt eSPORTS will also be offering some other prizes for the second placed players, aswell as some mousepads for lucky door entries and for those of you just looking to catch up with mates and check whats on offer, there will be pizza and drinks available for sale and a projector to show you all of the gaming action.

To further enlighten the experience, Scorptec will be offering discounted Tt eSPORTS product and tie in's with Tt eSPORTS specially made machines and while your waiting for your chance to game against our guys again, you can test out the product and warm-up on provided machines.

You don't have to stay all day either, you can turn up, play and head home. But if you expect to win any prizes (besides the lucky door) and think you have a chance in the running, you have to staty till closing at 2:30pm and you could very well walk away with a MEKA G1 for yourself and one for your teammate.

If you guys are lucky, some of the SEQUENTIAL Female CS;S Girls might also turn up for a game,

Due to a clash with end of year exams for a lot of our participants, we're postponing our Amateur Series to the month of November! This also means that the signups and team formation deadlines for the series Officially closes by October 31st!

We hope this gives you all more time to organise your teams, and get used to working together and figuring out all the appropriate strategies etc!

We apologise for the inconvenience for those of you who were looking forward to a September/October league but with the HSC out of the way - there's just so much more room to have more teams and more fun for the series!

Hi Guys!

I know it's been really confusing and all recently - we're working on separating the two series and by this weekend, you'll be able to elect which series you want to participate in! Thank you for all your patience!

:D

We've been working on the ruleset for the Amateur (and Pro!) league for a little while now, and they've been updated to a mostly complete status now! Feel free to click on the Rules button on the menu, or this link here to get to the rules page!

If you've played in any sort of CyberGamer based event, you'll be mostly familiar with the rules - they're near identical (as with any other eSports organisation that has a CounterStrike series actually). The main difference I would point you all to is the Match Rules and Information. These are a little bit different to your average ruleset, running on a Max round 9 based system.

Anyway, have a read, and stay tuned for more updates!
